About True North Stickers
Q: What material are your stickers made from? Are they durable?
A: Our stickers are crafted from high-quality, durable vinyl. This material is known for its resilience against various elements, ensuring your stickers last.
Q: Are these stickers waterproof? Can I put them on my water bottle or car?
A: Yes, absolutely! Our waterproof stickers are designed to withstand water exposure, making them perfect for water bottle stickers, stickers for car, or anything else that might get wet. They won't fade, peel, or run when exposed to rain, spills, or even washing.
Q: What size are the stickers?
A: All of our stickers are a convenient two inch size. This makes them versatile enough to fit perfectly on laptops, water bottles, phones, and many other surfaces without being too large or too small.
Q: Do you offer free shipping?
A: Yes! We're happy to offer free shipping on all sticker orders.
Q: What is your return policy?
A: We want you to be thrilled with your purchase! We offer 30-day returns on all stickers. If for any reason you're not completely satisfied, please contact us within 30 days of receiving your order to arrange a return or exchange.
Application Tips
Q: How do I apply my sticker for the best results?
A: For optimal adhesion and a bubble-free finish, follow these simple steps:
Clean the Surface: Ensure the application surface is clean, dry, and free of dust, grease, or dirt. Use rubbing alcohol for best results, especially on smooth surfaces like metal, glass, or plastic.
Peel Slowly: Carefully peel the backing paper off the sticker, starting from one corner. Try not to touch the adhesive side with your fingers.
Position Carefully: Align the sticker precisely where you want it. Once it touches the surface, it's difficult to reposition without stretching or damaging the sticker.
Smooth It Out: Starting from the center of the sticker and working outwards, firmly press down with a credit card, squeegee, or your fingers to smooth out any air bubbles. Work slowly to push all the air out.
Allow to Cure: For best adhesion, especially on items that will be handled or washed frequently (like water bottle stickers), allow the adhesive to "cure" for 24-48 hours before exposing it to water or extreme conditions.1
Q: What surfaces are best for applying stickers?
A: Our vinyl stickers adhere well to most smooth, non-porous surfaces, including:
Laptops (stickers for laptop)
Water bottles and tumblers
Cars, motorcycles, and bicycles (stickers for car)
Phones and tablets
Skateboards and helmets
Notebooks and binders
Windows and mirrors
Care Tips
Q: How do I clean my stickers?
A: For general cleaning, simply wipe your stickers gently with a damp cloth. For water bottle stickers or items that get washed, hand-washing is generally recommended to prolong the life of the sticker, especially if using harsh detergents or extremely hot water.2 Avoid abrasive cleaners or scrubbing directly on the sticker.
Q: Can I put items with stickers in the dishwasher?
A: While our stickers are waterproof, we generally recommend hand-washing items like water bottles that have stickers applied. The high heat, harsh detergents, and intense water jets of dishwashers can, over time, potentially reduce the longevity of the adhesive or the vibrancy of the print.
Q: How long will my stickers last?
A: With proper application and care, our high-quality vinyl stickers are designed to be very durable and long-lasting, even on frequently handled items. The lifespan can vary based on exposure to harsh weather, UV light, and frequency of handling, but you can expect them to hold up well for a significant period.
Q: How do I remove a sticker?
A: To remove a sticker, gently lift one edge with your fingernail or a plastic scraper. Slowly peel the sticker back at a sharp angle. If there's any sticky residue left behind, you can usually remove it with rubbing alcohol, Goo Gone, or a mild adhesive remover. Test on an inconspicuous area first if you're concerned about the surface.
